How to get enough protein?

Ordinary adult need the intake of 65~80 grams of protein a day. Probably accounted for the total energy intake of 10%~15%,or equivalent per kilogram of body weight of 1.0~1.2 grams of protein intake. Children because of growth and development, need to press the unit weight, eat more protein; pregnant and lactating women need to eat more, about 80~85 grams of protein per day; and the elderly in order slow muscle failure, should eat more protein than normal adult; fitness and operation or heavier disease recovery period also need to eat more protein.
The body of protein metabolism ability is very strong. But renal dysfunction require low protein diet, the normal renal function, protein energy ratio 35% is tolerable. This amount is roughly equivalent to 2 times usual intake. Of course, nutritional function of protein must be balanced with carbohydrate and fat intake then. Therefore, we do not advocate blind large intake of protein.bmp 2
